Deni Ferdian is a lecturer at Dept. of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. He holds degree from Universitas Indonesia (Sarjana Teknik - Bachelor of Engineering) Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam-Netherland (Master of Science) and Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT) – France (Doctor, in Material Science). His main research interests in the field of metal solidification especially the intermetallic formation in Aluminum-Silicon alloy. He has taught courses on advanced manufacturing process, kinetics and phase transformation, physical metallurgy and other relevant subjects at all levels.
