ISBE 2017 is the second International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering is organized by Research Center for Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia (RCBE-FTUI). This event encompasses cutting edge research activities in Biomedical Engineering that widespread in Indonesia and Asia. Additionally, a global trend shall also be discovered throughout a series of discussion hosted by reputable speakers. Finally, a finding to a key solution in serving the nation shall be addressed through our consolidated entities.

International Symposium on Biomedical Engineering (ISBE) would be an annual event in the future. This regular activity is aimed at supporting the vision of RCBE-FTUI to become excellent research center in biomedical applications which provide engineering solutions to solve health problems in communities. 

The ISBE 2017 will be held on July 24 – 27, 2017 at The Westin Nusa Dua, Bali Island, Indonesia.

The deadline for electronic extended abstract-submissions is March 30, 2017. 

The extended abstract length for ISBE 2017 is  2 - 3 pages with one-column format. For The MS Word template to prepare the extended abstract and the paper submission instruction are available at http://isbe.eng.ui.ac.id/authors-information/abstract-submission/ 

The Electronic submissions at ISBE 2017 will be accepted only through the Conference web site link by Easy Chair (paper submitted via e-mail attachments will be not accepted).

The topics of interest include, but are not limited to,  Drugs Development & Delivery, Cell and Tissue Engineering, Genetic & Protein Engineering, Biomedical Instrumentations, MEMS & Biosensors, Medical System and Services, Biomedical Imaging, Biomaterials & Biomimetics, Medical Treatment Technology, Medical Informatics,  Assistive Technology and Rehabilitation Engineering, Neural Engineering, and many other related topics.
