Dr. Hudaya obtained bachelor, master, and Ph.D degree from Universitas Indonesia, Seoul National University and University of Science and Technology – Campus of Korea Institute of Science and Technology (UST – KIST) in 2006, 2009, and 2016, respectively. During completion of doctoral study, Dr. Hudaya received Excellent Research Awards from the Mayor of Daejeon City - Korea (2016), Academic Excellent Award from President of KIST (2016) and Excellent Award of Paper Field from President of UST (2015), due to outstanding performance in research. In 2017, he were honored numerous awards including the First Prize of Pertamina Idegila Energy Competition, the First Prize of Outstanding Lecturer in Universitas Indonesia, UST Overseas Honorary Ambassador for Indonesia, Runner-up (2nd Winner) Outstanding Lecturer in National Level from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education - KEMENRISTEK DIKTI and ASEAN Young Scientist and Technologist Award (AYSTA). He is an expert in vacuum-and-plasma- based technologies such as physical vapor deposition (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and combined PVD-CVD systems. In addition, Dr. Hudaya experienced in lithium-ion battery fabrication in the form of coin and pouch type cells. Currently, he has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and held 6 Korean patents. He is now an assistant professor at Department of Electrical Engineering Universitas Indonesia. He is also serving as the Head of Energy System Engineering (Master Study Program) of Faculty of Engineering UI and Finance and Grant Manager, SMART CITY UI. His research interest includes advanced materials for energy storage application and electronic materials including, but not limited to lithium-ion batteries, hybrid supercapacitor, superconductors, transparent heating materials, renewable energy, electrical power system, and energy economic and management.
