International Engineering Student Conference (IESC) 2016 is the first international conference for engineering students held by Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia (FTUI). FTUI challenges engineering students from around the world to come up with solutions to solve real world problems.

The theme for this conference is : "Engineering for Sustainable Development".Engineering has been taking major role toward human civilization advancement since very long. Yet, problems occur never endingly and become more complex. Engineering plays a significant role in order to sustain the advancement. Therefore, engineers are challenged to invent creative solutions to realize a sustainable development.
